Attendance

Well done to 6W the winners of KS2, and to R:1H who came top in KS1. Sadly 3M was the only other class to beat the schools target of 96%. We are all getting tired as the term goes on, so make sure you all eat well and get enough sleep.

Dropping children off at the beginning of the day

Nursery parents are invited into the classroom to help children settle in for the day. Reception and Key Stage 1 children can be taken to the classroom door.

Key Stage 2 children should be encouraged to make their own way to their classes. We ask that parents do not go into classrooms in the mornings as this can distract children and can prevent a smooth, prompt start to the day.

Key Stage 1 and Early Years Nativity

‘It`s a Cracker’ will be held on Wednesday 10th December at 2:00pm at St Pauls Church. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time as it is a prompt start and late entries into church distract the children. After the performance children will get changed and they will be taken back to class where parents can collect them as normal and take them home.

Wakefield Hospice Concert

Tomorrow, St Paul`s School Choir will be performing along with the Wakefield Metropolitan Band at St Paul`s Church. The concert begins at 7pm. All proceeds made from ticket sales are for the work of the Wakefield Hospice. Tickets priced at £6.00 (adults) and £2.00 (children 5-15 years).

Christmas Fair

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Christmas Fair organised by the Guides Association. Thanks to your kindness and generosity, the present/cracker stall and toy tombola ran by the PTA raised £390.00 for the school. I would like to thank all the parent/carers who helped out on the day.
