Super Squad!

19th September 2014

We want your unwanted used clothing!

The Super Squad are providing St Paul’s School PTA with the chance to raise money for the school.
This is an ideal way to recycle any unwanted used clothing, and raise funds at the same time. Now is the time to clear out those summer wardrobes.
The Super Squad is a family textile recycling company that has been established for 35 years. Primarily The Super Squad has worked with charities – buying their rags to recycle. However, they are now focusing on schools as this offers the potential to teach young pupils the importance of recycling.
In order to raise money for St Paul’s School we ask staff and pupils to bring in any unwanted, used clothing.
For every kilo of clothing St Paul’s School collects Super Squad Clothing Recyclers will pay you 60p per kilo, £600 per tonne.
Furthermore, for every 300 kilos we collect, they will plant one tree through Trees For Life (a charity that is working to restore the Caledonian forest). These trees can be planted in our schools name and, for every tree planted, our school will receive a certificate as proof of this sponsorship.

Simply fill your own bin bags / carrier bags, and bring them to the school entrance the week commencing Monday 29th September.

Super Squad Clothing Recyclers will be collecting them

We will be unable to accept bags brought in after 9.00am

Thank you for your support.
