Tour de Yorkshire

The Tour de Yorkshire is coming to the district on Saturday 30th April, so why not line the route and cheer the top riders as they compete. The men`s and women`s races will travel into Knottingley, then Pontefract and Wentbridge before heading to North and South Elmsall and out towards Hooton Pagnell.

Community events are taking place along the route on Saturday to bring people together and have fun. The Council is supporting a `Celebration Hub` behind Knottingley Sports Centre from 10am – 5pm with activities such as face painting and a BMX stunt display.
