Break In

I am very sorry to report that there was another break-in at school this week.  The burglars did not manage to actually take anything due to the vigilance and concern of our neighbours. Thank you to everyone who takes an interest and helps to look after our school site when the school is closed.

We have noticed a pattern with the break-ins and realise that when we are celebrating a successful PTA event in school and informing parents and carers through the newsletter how much money was made by our hardworking PTA this is followed by some individuals attempting to steal the money from school.  Although nothing was successfully stolen, the criminals caused damage to doors and seating in school which will be expensive to replace and upgrade.  We are having to invest money from next year’s school budget into security and CCTV cameras which takes it away from the children for whom it was intended.

As a result of these break-ins I regret to say that the amounts raised by the PTA will no longer be able to be shared through the newsletters.  Please do come to the PTA meetings or events and talk to members of the PTA to find out how hard they work and what they do to help the children in school to have access to resources and opportunities beyond that which could otherwise be provided.

School Dinners

In an effort to reduce the amount of cash on school premises, can I ask parent/carers not using the online payment system for dinners to log on and take a look. Payments can be made at any-time to suit you, so no more forgetting cash on a Monday morning! You can track your account, and view menus. Details of how to register are:

Log onto ISS website: feedinghungryminds.co.uk

Click -   ‘Payments’       (top right hand corner)

Click -    ‘Wakefield’

Click -   ‘Log in or Register’

Click -   ‘New User’

Complete the registration form and click -    ‘Register Me’

The registration will then be processed by ISS. On activation of your account you will be contacted by email or phone and you will then be ready to use your school meals online account.

If you encounter any problems with the register process please contact
