Food Hero Day

Next Thursday ISS are celebrating Food Hero Day, a day designed to get children thinking about great, healthy foods and eating them too! Although the menu will remain unchanged, there will be an additional surprise dessert for the children to try, and activity sheets to complete.  If your child normally has sandwiches and would like to join in, please send £1.85 in an envelope marked with their name and class to the school office and this can be arranged.

Lunchtime Supervisor

We have a vacancy for a lunchtime supervisor. The hours will be 1 hour 20 minutes over the lunchtime period.  The successful applicant will be required to complete DBS application form and to provide criminal conviction information (formally known as CRB). Application forms are available from the school office, and the closing date is Monday 25th January. If you would like any information regarding the role, please contact Mrs McClean.

Missing Deadlines

We understand how frustrating it can be when busy Parents/Carers miss a deadline set for trips, clubs, lunch money or events. Wherever possible we do try and accommodate late returns, but sometimes there is a specific reason for the deadline (first-come/first-served, coach numbers etc) and we are unable to help. We try to ensure deadlines are met by highlighting them in letters, in the weekly newsletters (both available on our website) and by sending text messages as final reminders. Please help us by making notes of deadline dates in your diaries or on your calendars to avoid disappointment.

Governor Elections

Every household should have received a ballot form for the parent governor elections. All completed forms should be returned to school no later than Friday January 22nd
