Diary Dates 2016-17

I would like to give advance details to parent/carers of current Year 3 children. Next year your children will have the opportunity to go on our 3 day residential trip which takes place in Year 4. The dates are Wednesday 6th April to Friday 8th April 2016, and we are having a change of venue from Robin Hoods Bay to Cober Hill. We will pass on more information and costings nearer the time, but wanted to make you aware that the school operates a savings scheme for residential trips which allows you to spread the cost of trips over the year. Anyone who would like to start one straight away can request a payment card from the school office.

Missing Deadlines

We understand how frustrating it can be when busy Parents/Carers miss a deadline set for trips, clubs, lunch money or events. Wherever possible we do try and accommodate late returns, but sometimes there is a specific reason for the deadline (first-come/first-served, coach numbers etc) and we are unable to help. We try to ensure deadlines are met by highlighting them in letters, in the weekly newsletters (both available on our website) and by sending text messages as final reminders. Please help us by making notes of deadline dates in your diaries or on your calendars to avoid disappointment.

Easter Service

The Easter Service will be held in St Paul`s Church on Tuesday 24th March at 2:00pm. The children will be taking part in the service and I look forward to welcoming all parents, family and friends to join us at the church.

Milk Scheme

Please remember that reply slips and payment must be returned to the office by Wednesday morning. Any order received after that cannot be added on.

Our PTA have an events page on Facebook. Please ‘like’ the page so that you can keep up to date with carnival preparations and other events being held in school.
