Attendance

Well done 1:2FM and 3C for the highest attendance of their key stage. All but one class achieved over 96%, so well done! Sympathy for R:1W with chicken-pox affecting their attendance badly!

Parent / Teacher / Consultations

You should have now returned your slips for the Parent / Teacher / Consultations, enabling teachers to allocate appointments. It is expected that every child is represented at these meetings so that we are able to discuss how your child has settled into their new class, targets and progress and allow you the opportunity to voice any concerns you may have. Appointment times will be confirmed next week.

Harvest Festival

Parents and carers are welcome to join us for a short Service to celebrate Harvest Festival on Wednesday 7th October at 2.00 pm in the church. Please note if the Service finishes early, the children will be taken back to class where parents can collect them and take them home.

* This year, we are gathering produce for St Catherine’s Church (food bank).Items requested are tins and dried food stuff, and we ask that these have long ‘use by’ dates.  Please do not send fresh produce as it is often ‘past its best’ by the time it is distributed.  Any monetary donations will be donated to CAP.

Sending Children Home

If your child is going home with a friend, another family member or anyone different from their normal collection person please let their class teacher or school office know. It can save a lot of difficulties as staff can only let children leave the school with named contacts.
