Christmas Jumper Day

As a school we are going to be joining in with the National Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 18th December. Children can get a second wearing out of their Christmas jumper.

Although we won`t be having a collection at school I would encourage everyone to donate to the cause. The event is raising money for three major charities, Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish UK and Save the Children UK.

Christmas Nativity

Reception and Years 1 and 2 joined together for a wonderful Nativity play this week, to a packed audience of proud parents, carers and other family members. The children sang and performed beautifully and it was lovely to see how well attended the event was. Thanks to those parent/carers of toddlers who enabled us to watch and enjoy the performance without any distractions. I would also like to say a huge thank you to all the staff who have worked so hard to prepare the children.

Christmas Parties

On the day of your child’s party they can wear their party clothes all day. Please remember they will be playing out in the morning break and at lunchtime. They will be playing party games and thin strappy sandals or strappy tops are unsuitable.

Wakefield Hospice Concert

Thank you to everyone who attended the Carol Concert at St Paul’s Church. We have had some marvellous feedback regarding our choir’s performance. I do hope everybody enjoyed it.

Ticket sales raised £879.00 for the Wakefield Hospice.
