Christmas Dinner

The school Christmas dinner is next week, Wednesday 2nd December. Children can wear Christmas jumpers with their uniform.

Year 6 Mad Science At Home – a big thank you to parents!

As many parents of Year 6 children will know by now, each child from the class is selected each week to work with one or two of their friends to carry out a science experiment at home, using materials often found in kitchen cupboards, then record a presentation of their experiment with the school video camera.

This year the standard has been particularly high! Mr Willmott would like to say a huge thank you to all those parents who have provided valuable support with this and a special thanks to those who have washed the lab coats for us! It wasn’t expected but was very much appreciated!

Mad Science At Home will continue, as we want as many of the children as possible to have the opportunity during their time in Year 6. I just felt it important to acknowledge the hard work and support that has already taken place.

Christmas Fair

Many thanks to everyone who came along to our Christmas Fair on Tuesday. We had huge support from  a  large number of our families, and several new faces - including an older gentleman with white hair and beard, all dressed in red, who had brought along a couple of elves to help him….

A very heartfelt thank you to all our parents who generously donated. Without your contributions, there would be no Christmas Fair. The final amount raised will be shared with you very soon, but every penny will be used to enable our children to enjoy better resources and supplement the cost of educational visits, which the children get so much from and thoroughly enjoy.

A final thank you must be given to the PTA and staff who generously gave up their time to support this event. This made a real difference, so thank you!
