Parent / Teacher / Child Consultations

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the consultation evenings last week.  Your attendance demonstrates to your child the partnership between home and school. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to share the work that your child is doing in school and I hope you found it beneficial. We always do!

Knitters & Crocheters

Key Stage one are sending out a request to any parents, grandparents, neighbours or anyone else who can knit or crochet. We are starting to study the book ‘Oliver`s Vegetables’ on 1st December and would like some knitted or crocheted vegetables to use alongside the book. All donations gratefully received!

Poppy Appeal

After half term poppies will be on sale each break time in the school hall. The suggested minimum is 20p for a poppy.

PTA Parents Meeting – Tuesday 4th November at 6.30pm in the school hall.

The PTA meeting is on Tuesday 4th November.  All parent/carers are very welcome to come along, see what happens and hopefully get involved in supporting the school. Offers of help from new members are always greatly appreciated and there are many different ways in which you can support the Association, who organise various events throughout the year to raise money for school funds. Every penny raised is put to good use and benefits all the children in school.

Janet Best Hair Design

Our village hair salon, Janet Best Hair Design, is holding a Christmas Fair on the evening of our first day back at school Monday, 3rd November, at 6pm to raise funds to buy our school a much needed radio microphone. There will be Christmas gift stalls, complimentary drinks, a catwalk, fantastic prize raffle, special “one night only” money saving deals and promotions, and hair professionals will be happy to help you with all your hair problems on the night. It’s a great excuse for a girly night out, so why not come along with a friend and enjoy this event for St Pauls School. Simply call 01924 200000 to add your name to the guest list.

Half-term Break

I hope you all have a good half-term and come back refreshed and ready for the busy run up to Christmas.  We return to school on Monday 3rd November.
