Dinner Money Debt

Despite introducing the online payment system for dinner money, office staff are still spending valuable time chasing dinner money on a weekly basis.

Parents/Carers must pay in advance for the school lunch using any of the methods of payment

outlined below:

  • Online using feedinghungryminds.co.uk     THIS IS OUR PREFERRED METHOD
  • Send cash or cheque in a marked envelope

From January children will not be given a school lunch unless it is paid for, except those that are entitled to free school meals. We appreciate that sometimes it can be easy to forget to pay for lunches and for that we will allow parents a maximum of one week`s leeway. If the debt exceeds this you will be responsible for providing your child with a packed lunch. This will prevent parent/carers incurring large debts and should help to budget your child`s dinner money.  In the instance of a debt payment not being received and a packed lunch not provided, a member of the admin team will contact the parent/carer to ask them to come to school with either the money for a lunch or a packed lunch.

Christmas Collections:

Thank you to all the parents/carers who contributed to the retiring collections after the Key Stage 1 and Early Years Nativity and the Years 3 & 4 Production. The total amount raised was £265.29 and this will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Christmas

On behalf of myself and the staff, all that remains is for me to wish everyone a peaceful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.  Thank you for all your cards and good wishes. They have been very much appreciated.  We return to school on Monday 4th January 2016.
